Our mission is to encourage friendly competition in the Mid-Ohio Valley with the end goal of improving match play in our area.
Who We Are
MOVTA is a non-profit, USTA community tennis association for the Mid-Ohio Valley. We are made up of members who are active in the local tennis community.
Who We Serve
West Virginia counties: Jackson, Pleasants, Ritchie, Wirt, and Wood.
Ohio counties: Athens, Belmont, Meigs, Monroe, Morgan, Noble, and Washington.
What We Do
Organize and promote tennis events
Sponsor a junior tennis team
Sponsor a local middle school/high school summer tennis league
Work with local education systems to share tennis information with youth
